Strawberries not that bountiful…

Strawberries not that bountiful...

Grew three strawberry plants last autumn…
Species are ‘Toyo no ka’, ‘Aska ruby’, and ‘Summer ruby’…
(Summer ruby is supposed to fruit all year round… let’s see…)
Had been harvesting them bit by bit since April…
They come in ones and twos, so there is not much to chew on…
Anyway, lovely taste they are…
Shall plan to grow more of them next season for ‘revenge’…

  1. I’m envious, though not bountiful, at least you have home grown strawberries 😀

You are getting more than I am. The birds get to mine before I do, never fails.

Looks good enough to sink one’s teeth in them. I love the name ‘Summer Ruby’. When your harvest is more bountiful, do send one box over 😀
