Lavendar, the French and English…

Image

Some flowers from my suweeto haato’s herb patch…
The lavender above was given by a neighbor…
Am not sure of its name…
My missus says it is French lavender but I prefer to name it ‘rabbit ear’ lavender…
ImageAgain, am not sure of the name…
And my missus says it is English Lavender… no?
This is very fragrant… especially the stems and leaves…
She sometimes makes dry flowers out of them to use as potpourri and sache…

We’ve some unidentified lavender in our garden also! Supposedly one is more suitable for cooking with than the other, but I can never remember which…

I remembered during semesters holiday one time in Japan, went to Hokaido just to see lavendars.
    Beautiful!

You must be having a very nice camera to take pictures of lavendar flowers as they are so tiny. I have them in my garden too and love them. The bees especially love them.

  4. I wish I know the name Lrong coz that the spikes of flower are really pretty 😉 Thank you for sharing. You and your missus, have a great day and enjoy all the wonderful and sweet smelling blooms at your surroundings.
